Introduction to the scheme:
Healthcare-related professionals such as Assistant Nurses and Personal Support Workers are among the high-demand occupations in Ontario. The OINP invites experienced and skilled foreign professionals to work in Ontario to alleviate the problem of labor shortage. Applicants are eligible to apply for permanent residence after fulfilling the working hours through full-time job opportunities provided by Ontario employers.

Eligibility:

Age: 20-50 years old

Educational level: degree or certificate in nursing from an accredited education institution

Language proficiency: IELTS band 6/ fluent in English

Work Experience: at least 3 years experience of Enrolled Nurse (EN) or Registered Nurse (RN) would be preferable
Job duties:
-
Help the patients with their daily mobility
-
Provides personal care for patients including, such as assisting to get out the bed, bathing, grooming, getting dressed, etc.

Plan and prepare meals and feed the patient if needed
-
Change non-sterile dressings and give oral medications as instructed by the home care agency or supervisor

Help with light housekeeping and cleaning work, such as doing laundry, washing dishes, beds making, etc.

Keep a record of the patient’s health, daily routines, and improvements

Assessing applicant's past work experience and academic qualifications

Applicant will be arranged an interview with the employer in Hong Kong

Applicant will receive the job admission notice

Helping applicant to enter Canada in the form of a working visa

Applicant has worked in Canada for 18 months

Employer will help the applicants to apply for permanent residence
